Wenn schon Militär und Verteidigungsministerium sein muss, dann wenigstens so: Carme Chacón ist 37, hochschwanger und neue Verteidigungsministerin im zweiten Kabinett von José Luis Zapatero. Obendrein ist sie auch noch Katalanin – die spanischen Konservativen müssen vor Wut schäumen. Ich komme einmal mehr zu dem Schluss, dass die Regierung Zapateros, in dessen zweiter Amtszeit nun mit mehr weiblich als männlich besetzten Ministerien, die gesellschaftspolitisch fortschrittlichste in Europa ist. In Deutschland wäre das, Merkel hin oder her, unvorstellbar.
